Unlock password-protected AT Commands in Sierra Wireless Modules
Some of the AT commands in the Sierra Wireless modules are password protected. They have to be unlocked by providing the password before using those commands. Once they are unlocked, the password-protected AT commands can be used until the module is reset. A default password is provisioned in the module at the time of manufacturing. The default password in usually “A710”.
How to unlock password-protected commands in Sierra Wireless modules?
AT!ENTERCND command can used to unlock the password-protected AT commands in the Sierra Wireless modules. Once it is unlocked, the same command can be used to query the current password.
How to change password-protected AT commands in Sierra Wireless modules?
AT!SETCND command can be used to change the current password. Note that before changing the password, the user must enter the current password correctly using the AT!ENTERCND command. The password should be 4-10 character long and can only inlcude (0-9, A-Z).
Using the AT Command Tester tool, user can unlock the password-protected AT commands in the Sierra Wireless modules.
