Maxis provides cellular network services on HSPA+, HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS, GSM,LTE NB-IoT technologies.

To set the APN for network provider Maxis in Malaysia,

  • The Access Point Network (APN) for Maxis is 'maxis4g'.
  • Use the AT+CGDCONT AT command to set the APN for Maxis.
  • Connect mobile device to the AT Command Tester tool.
  • Select a PDP profile in the device and set the APN by sending the below AT Command to the mobile device,

    •   AT+CGDCONT= 1,"IP","maxis4g","0.0.0.0",0,0
