Using the AT Command Tester tool, you can if the SIM card is present and correctly read by the wireless modules.

When SIM is not detected by the mobile device, AT Command Tester will return the status ‘SIM is not ready’.

When SIM is detected by the mobile device, AT Command Tester will return the status ‘SIM is ready’.
