Get the GPS Altitude from the NMEA $GPGGA Sentence

GPS altitude data is returned in the NMEA $GPGGA sentence.

To read the NMEA Altitude,

• Connect the AT Command Tester tool to the GPS device.
• The tool will automatically read and parse the $GPGGA sentence and display the NMEA Altitude information.
• The unit of the altitude is also returned in the $GPGGA sentence.
