A1(Austria) – Set the APN to ‘free.a1.net’


A1 provides cellular network services on LTE, DC-HSPA, HSDPA, EDGE, GPRS, GSM technologies.

To set the APN for network provider A1 in Austria,

  • The Access Point Network (APN) for A1 is 'free.a1.net'.
  • Use the AT+CGDCONT AT command to set the APN for A1.
  • Connect mobile device to the AT Command Tester tool.
  • Select a PDP profile in the device and set the APN by sending the below AT Command to the mobile device,

    •   AT+CGDCONT= 1,"IP","free.a1.net","0.0.0.0",0,0
