Korea Certification(KC) Mark

KC mark is mandatory certification required for certain products including telecommunication products. Korea Communications Comission (KCC) is the regulating body, but Radio Research Agency is the certitication body.

KC Mark Procedure

• Type Registration – For radio equipment for general users
• Type Verification – For safety of ship or aircraft
• EMC Registration – For IT equipment

KC Mark Process

• Testing of the device by RRA or designated laboratory
• Application of Type approval is submitted to RRA
• Test report is submitted to RRA
• KC Mark certification is issued
