Enable Cloud IoT API in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

To use the IoT features in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) by applications such as IoT Cloud Tester , the Cloud IoT API must be enabled.

Enable Cloud IoT API in GCP

To enable cloud IoT API,

  • Verify the service account in the IoT Cloud Tester application
  • Press the ‘Enable Cloud IoT API’ button in the app. That will launch the GCP console page to enable the Cloud IoT API and pass the project Id as below,
    • https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/library/cloudiot.googleapis.com?project=iot-cloud-tutorial
  • Press the ‘Enable’ button in the Google console page.
