    Hi
Wondered if anyone has managed to get the secure SMTP AT commands working. I’m a stuck at present, see below:

    AT+CPING="www.baidu.com",1
    OK

    +CPING: 1,180.76.3.151,64,1449,255

    +CPING: 1,180.76.3.151,64,486,255

    +CPING: 1,180.76.3.151,64,486,255

    +CPING: 1,180.76.3.151,64,495,255

    +CPING: 3,4,4,0,486,1449,728

    AT+CSMTPSSRV="mail.messagingengine.com",587,2
    OK
    AT+CSMTPSAUTH=1,"xxxxxxx@fastmail.fm","rl57282"
    OK
    AT+CSMTPSFROM="xxxxxxx@fastmail.fm","James"
    OK
    AT+CSMTPSRCPT=0,0,"xxxxxxx@ntlworld.com","Home"
    OK
    AT+CSMTPSSUB=14,"utf-8"
    >This is a Test
    OK
    AT+CSMTPSBODY=21
    >Attachment not follow
    OK
    AT+CSMTPSSEND
    OK

    +CSMTPSSEND: 8

Note email xxxxed out for obvious reasons. Ping test to show connected to network. The final result code for +CSMTPSSEND is 8 or ‘NETWORK ERROR’ and no mail is sent.

Is this a module SSL/TLS problem or an issue with the SIM? Note SIM has been used in Broadband dongle and works fine there for both email and internet access.

    Thanks
    James
